This weekend, we went to Cheyenne for the day. I needed some shopping therapy or at least get out of the small town. I didn't spend very much money, but did pick up a hat for Po'okela's 6 month pictures and both kids Easter outfits (nothing fancy). While waking in the mall, we saw a little girl getting her ears pierced. Since Alohi has been asking to get earrings, we decided to watch the little girl so she would know what happens when getting earrings. The little girl didn't even shed a tear and I told Alohi that it is like getting a shot. Next thing happens... Alohi is climbing into the chair and Rylan is filling out the paper work. Before we had Alohi, Rylan asked if he could be the one to take her to get her ears pierced. So that is why he is filling out the paper work. I'm just glad that I could be apart of the process. Enjoy the pictures!
She picked out a sparkly pair!
Dad, pulling her hair back with clips...
I never got this girls name, but she was WONDERFUL! She told Alohi everything she was going to do. The next few pictures are of the process before, marking the ear, etc.
Alohi got a sucker just before...
This was the best part... They did both ears at the same time!! If you have a child under the age of 6, do this!!
And if you were wondering... Yes, she cried and daddy swooped into rescue her!
That sucker got her distracted and was perfect to stop the tears!
This isn't the best picture, but it is right after.
Po'okela wasn't too impressed and slept through the whole thing!
Before he fell asleep... we picked this up for him!!
