Well, just after Po'okela's 6 month check up we randomly placed him on the floor at the church nursery and he sat up. No support or anything. At his doctor's check up one of the questions was, "can he sit by himself?" My response was no, but with support he does. Doc, kind of looked at me, which I then responded, "His sister was nearly crawling at this age, so I am completely ok with him just sitting or barely sitting right now." That lead into a whole conversation, which I don't want to get into because my kids are so different from each other that I'm NOT going to compare them! Anyways, that Sunday he sat. No support or anything. So there doctor, check it off that list... He is sitting. Without support & here's the proof!
Sorry picture is blurry! This was at church...
He's so happy to be able to play with toys this way.
You can't see Alohi in this picture, but I have enjoyed watching her "teach" him new things, now that he can sit up and interact with her better. I think in this picture she is playing with a remote my little pony car and showing him how it moves.
They get along better more and more each day! She's turning on the music to this toy for him and she will chase after the balls for him once they spill out. I am so blessed to be home with the both of them! God is so GOOD!
